Youth keen to be involved in European politics

The stereotype of youth "not being bothered with politics these days" is probably quite commonly held by many of us  - evidence from European Youth Forum, a partner organisation of the European Parliament has received 600 applications from young people wanting to volunteer at this year’s European Youth Event (EYE 2014) in Strasbourg.

For us this is more evidence that young people do care about their society and want a say in what happens. It also shows that this willingness to get involved is not just limited to the UK but is being seen right across Europe.
